Steps:
1. Remote into server:
$ ssh myadminid@ubuntu.mindwatering.com
<password if not using key>
2. Update repo list:
$ sudo apt-get update
<wait>
3. Install Podman, git and utilities:
$ sudo apt-get install podman firewalld podman-compose git less
